That is either terrifying spelling or well put sarcasm. I hope for the latter.

Not horrible spelling, jsut poor writting habit thats all folks. Its commonly seen in AOL chat rooms and text messaging and the ever important taunting in FPS games. I think its an equivlent of butchered l33t speak. This is a forum folks, talk your time and spell out the words you mean to use. You got all the time in the world and no ones going to BOOM HEADSHOT you while your typing out your message.
On a side note I think he was just screwing around making fun of people or someone in particular not sure. He normally has such nice posts.... maybe a carniverous earwig got into his ear .

Too me Dp is a hurdle to get over. I have been known to just keep going after a certian enemy no matter the odds against me. Players who quit because they died a couple times get my goat only if they start to make a big deal out of it. Otherwise I just let them go and concider it their loss.
I ave completed many a quest with 30% or more DP, and my death count reflects my tenacity (2622 from the start of Guild Wars on my favorite character). Death doesn't get me down it just makes me want toget revenge on the monster that is beign so difficult. Let the DP-ragers quit its their loss if you can still complete what you are doing.

Morale's are so overrated. I've been in teams with a full 60% DP, and still defeat Glint (albiet it was a long and uneasy victory...).

Yes, just a bit patience and dp or missing team members do not do that much difference.
I have several times done trips in FoW/UW with 1-3 missing tanks/monks/nukers and with one or more members with high DP. It goes a bit slower but is goes forward.

Resurrection Shrines not work during missions. However if you meaned that you just party in normal area with PUG group and they quit so easily then just use henchies and heroes to do it.

Anytime I am in a group and they are willing to stick it out for something major I willingly share my candy canes but not openly. I wait to see who is getting high DP and then I message them and ask them to please stay alive now as I trade them a candy cane ~_^
I don't expect payment but sometimes people are willing to oblige. I HAD over 500 now I have somewhere around 300 because I sold a bunch so I could buy skills! Also I never sell them for 1k thats just asking to much for something that is still greatly in abundance >_<

yeah its sad to see this happen..so everytime someone leaves in my team i always tell them that i did the mission/quest with 3-4 people..and most of the time they stay and we sucsesfully complete the mission/quest..maybe some people will find it wrong that i lie but...think this..if u were at war and that the morale of your soldiers is low..what will you tell them..."WE ARE GONA DIE RUN FOR YOUR LIVES HELL IS COMING TO EARTH AGHHHHDZFGZDS!!! or tell them to relax and think of a plan to complete your mission or wathever. Im sure that by saying something like : Hey guys dont worry, if we take it slow we still can complete this, instead of wasting an hour to find another team" it will in my opinion give them some hope...i guess.Sorry for my english

I just want to share that many quests and missions, while hard, are completely doable after a few untimely deaths. Perhaps when everyone in the party is sporting 60% DP and dieing repeatedly at the same spot, then I see a good reason for starting anew. But getting fed up after a single defeat? There's a reason there are so many of those rez shrines sprinkled everywhere!! let's use them.

I have completed most of the game with henchies as I am a loner and was in a guild for about 1 month. I have left the guild and I have been playing alomst a year now as a loner.
My point is there have been many times I was at 60% DP and completed the quest anyway. There were times I could not be res'd because of 60DP but I just started over.
The world today is full of lazy people who want everything handed to them. They want everything easy. People even want the games to be easy for them. Some are too lazy to even play a video game and buy in game gold for real money. How sad that our society has become a bunch of people who prefer not to face a challenge even in a VIDEO GAME.

Candy Canes can be a mission saver. I keep a few on my monk. In the event I am unable to keep people alive, I give one here and there. Tends to keep them from complaining too much. Scrolls of Insight also help to get rid of DP's quicker too. More exp per kill = 2 point drop with 2 or 3 high level kills. I also carry a few of those. DP's are easy to overcome.

I think some of the best times I've had in PvE groups is when half the team quits for whatever reason, but we hang in there and fight the good fight anyway, sometimes even successfully finishing the mission or quest. Honestly, seeing that happen just makes me try all the harder, and I feel a special satisfaction knowing we beat the odds, or at least died valiently trying.
I recall a battle a number of months ago where I was monking in Factions, and a couple of other players were with me. Everyone else had left, and since one of the guys, a mesmer, had max DP, we used him as bait for me and an assassin. Had an absolute blast, but ultimately couldn't quite finish the mission. I still have those guys on my friends list.
Anyhow, I'm a firm believer that a game like this is largely what you make of it, and I choose to make it fun.

Gonna use that my next time out! LOL But yeah, DPs not always a deal breaker, but it does make it incredibly frustrating when you no longer have the energy for a spell, as well as alot less hp to lose, especially if youre using sup runes.

Once again this is why Hero's are sooooooooo much better than PUGs. Hero's never ragequit and leave you hanging. I rarely, if ever, group with people for this exact reason. I've figured out ways to hench my way through almost all the game content.

Major downside to Heroes: Sousuke is a moron who thinks he can tank.
